Bigg Boss 11: Tejasswi Prakash from 'Pehredaar Piya Ki' opens up about being approached for the show

Small screen's most famous and controversial show Bigg Boss season 11 is all set to go on AIR by October 1st. As the D day is coming closer the fans are getting super excited about the same. The show will be hosted by Salman Khan and will have both the celebrities and common man participating as the contestanst of the show.

Talking about the contestants of the show, a lot of names have been coming up. Another addition to the list is that of Tejasswi Prakash who was last seen in Sony Television's daily soap 'Pehredaar Piya Ki' which was taken off-AIR for it's controversial plot a few days back. The reports claim that the makers of Bigg Boss have approached her for the reality show. When Tejasswi was asked about the same she told a media portal, “Yes I have been approached for the show, but I am not too sure about it.”

She further talked about her upcoming projects and said, “We are yet to finalize things and everything is at the initial stage. Only after things are discussed at length and a meeting is held will we know how things will proceed."

Pehredaar Piya Ki that was taken off AIR was pulled down prematurely. Days later, a statement was released by the makers of the show that read:"We are pulling off our programme Pehredaar Piya Ki from television. While we understand that the decision to end this serial will be disappointing to those whose creative energies are vested in it, namely, its crew and cast, we (as a channel) are convinced that we will be better served by focusing instead on developing viewer interest in our upcoming, new shows."
