Viral video shows how to make ‘LAVA IDLI’; pisses off Indians [WATCH]

In the first month of the New Year, a bizarre food experiment has caused outrage on the internet. ‘Lava Idli’ - yes, you imagined correctly - is similar to the 'Chocolate Lava Cake,' but in a strange way.

The video shows how to make 'Lava Idli,' where chutney is revealed when the Idli is cut into. The clip is no less than trauma to all the South Indian food lovers who were disgusted over the not-so-needed Idli recipe.

The clip begins with adding some Idli batter to the greased molds. It then instructs to make holes in the Golgappa Puris and fill them with Sambhar or chutney. The Puris are then placed in the mold filled with Idli batter and topped with more batter. After being steamed for a few minutes, they are allowed to cool.
