A miniature artist from Jaipur city has earned the prestigious Guinness World Records (GWR) by creating the smallest wooden spoon in the globe. Interestingly, the wooden spoon is so tiny that it can be placed on a grain of rice. The spoon measures just 2 mm in height.

Navratan Prajapati Murtikar is the artist who made the smallest spoon and inked his name in the most prestigious record book in the world.

Guinness World Records took to Twitter to share the video. In the clip, Murtikar could be seen using different equipment to turn a wooden stick into the globe’s smallest spoon. Interestingly, Navratan, at one point in the video, uses the spoon to pick up tiny pieces of food.

“New record: Smallest wooden spoon - 2 mm (0.7 inches) made by Navratan Prajapati Murtikar (India),” GWR tweeted while sharing the video.
