CBSE Class 10 result 2016 @results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in; here's how to calculate your CGPA

Now that CBSE Class 10 results 2016 are here, here's a quick guide on how to calculate your CGPA from percentage and grades.

Follow the steps:

STEP 1: Check the grade points for five main subjects. For instance

Sub I: 8

Sub II: 9

Sub III: 8

Sub IV: 9

Sub V: 8

Step 2: Add up all the grade points which is -- 8+9+8+9+8 = 42

Step 3: Now, divide the sum by 5

So, 42/5 = 8.4;

Therefore, 8.4 is your CGPA.

CBSE Class X results 2016 were declared on 28 May at around 1pm, an hour before the scheduled time. The exams were held by from 1 March to 28 March 2016.
