Rajinikanth's Kabali emerges as biggest blockbuster in Chennai

Exactly one month after its theatrical release, Rajinikanth starrer Kabali set an all-time record at the Chennai Box Office. That its performance wasn't affected by the mixed reviews it received is evident from its fifth weekend collections at Chennai Box Office.

By the end of its one-month theatrical run, Kabali has minted a record Rs. 12.20 crore from the capital city of Tamil Nadu. The PA Ranjith directorial, which is still running to packed houses in the multiplexes of Chennai, is expected to rule till 2 September when superstar Vikram's Iru Mugan releases.

Meanwhile, Kabali, which also stars Radhika Apte and Dhansika is all set to break the worldwide collections of Rajinikanth's 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran.
