Nayak 2 to be made soon, Baahubali writer comes on board!

According to the reports the sequel of Nayak (2001) -- the film that originally had Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in the lead will be made soon. Apparently, the cast of the sequel has not been finalised yet, but it will be written by K.V. Vijendra Prasad, known for his work in Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The film is said to go on the floors this year. Nayak 2 will be produced by Eros International and the film will be eyeing early 2018 release. While the original film was directed by Shankar, this one would not have him at the helm of affairs.
Although Nayak was not a huge success at the Box Office when it released, the film managed to get lot of viewership on television.
