The sci-fi flick, produced by Lyca Mobile/Productions, has been made at a budget of Rs 350 crore - making it the most expensive film yet. Amy Jackson has been roped in to play the lead in the film.

According to the latest update on the much-anticipated film, Shankar has also signed veteran actress Ramya Krishnan - who was last seen in Baahubali: The Beginning - to play an important role in the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran.

The film will mark Krishnan's first outing with the blockbuster director. What's more, the film will also mark the return of the beloved pairing - also known as Padayappa jodi - of Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan after a long gap of 17 years.
