After Janatha Garage and Manyam Puli, Mohanlal to score hat-trick of Telugu hits with Kanupapa

After two back-to-back hits with Janatha Garage and Manyam Puli, Malayalam actor Mohanlal is all set to entertain the Telugu audience with Kanupapa, the Telugu dubbed version of actor's Onam release, Oppam.

Oppam, which marked the 40th collaboration of Mohanlal and director Priyadarshan,was produced by the actor's friend, Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas

. The thriller, which had released on September 8 last year, went on to become third all-time highest grosser of Malayalam cinema.

Kanupapa will be Mohanlal's third Telugu release in a span of 156 days. His previous release, Janatha Garage was released on September 1, while the Telugu version of Pulimurugan hit the screens on December 2 of last year.

Earlier, Dilip Kumar Bolugoti of Overseas Network Entertainment (ONE), who bought the Telugu rights of Oppam had planned to release the dubbed version on December 30 last year, but later postponed due to the dull phase of year-end period.

Kanupapa is scheduled to hit the screens on February 3.
