Yuvraj gets engaged: 5 quick facts about his soon-to-be wife Hazel Keech

Yuvraj Singh is officially engaged to be married. In a private ceremony in Bali on Wednesday 11 November, Yuvraj got engaged to British model and actress Hazel Keech in a low key affair.

The pair have known each other for over three years now, but only started dating three months back, media reports suggest. Hazel's father belongs to England, while her mother is from Mauritius.

Yuvraj's engagement comes just days after his former teammate Harbhajan Singh tied the knot with actress Geeta Basra at a ceremony in Delhi. Linked to actresses Kim Sharma and Deepika Padukone in 2008, Yuvraj's father Yograj Singh said:

"I am confident that marrying her (Hazel) will change his fortunes and he will return to the national squad."

• She has appeared in Tamil film Billa, and Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard, where she was the pretty bespectacled girl alongside Kareena Kapoor.

• She entered the ad industry after a stint in modelling, and has gone on to do ads for Sprite, Maruti Suzuki and Vivel.

• Hazel was a contestant in the seventh season of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss, but was the first contestant to leave the house after being voted out in the first round.

• She came to India at the age of 18 for a holiday, but decided to stick around after getting numerous modelling and acting offers.

• She acted as an extra in the first three Harry Potter movies.
