Unfortunately, Deepak Bhoria bowed out after a closely fought contest, losing both the first and second rounds with an identical 2-3 scoreline.

The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) reported that the Azerbaijani boxer's constant movement and pace proved challenging for Deepak, making it difficult for him to launch effective attacks.
