Gaurav Solanki (52kg) was the lone Indian boxer to enter the final even as two others settled for bronze medals after losing in the semifinals of the Commonwealth Youth Games here on Wednesday.

Solanki defeated England's Brandon Daord 3-0 to make the final and assure himself of at least a silver medal.

However, Leichombam Bhimchand Singh (49kg) and Prayag Chauhan (64kg) settled for bronze medals after losing in the semi-final.

Bhimchand went down to Ireland's Stephen McKenna, while Prayag also lost to an Irishman in Aidan Walsh to bow out of the showpiece.
