In a campaign blitz across the country, PM Narendra Modi would be on a visit to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, after he completes his rally in Maharashtra, as he speaks in Latur.

As BJP is in alliance with Shiv Sena, the face of both the party, PM Narendra Modi and Uddhav Thackeray are sharing the dais in a show of strength and unity to the voters and a sense of ‘warning’ to the electoral alliance of Congress and Nationalist Congress Party.

Maharashtra, which holds 48 seats in its pocket, can be a decider for the 2019 election and as Sharad Pawar has left his boots for Parth Pawar, the BJP-Sena have attacked the NCP numerous times over their fear to lose the polls.

PM Modi, while speaking at the Latur rally said, “I have come to know that you are sitting here since 9.30 AM. You are sitting here in this extreme heat. I won't let your 'tapasya' go in vain. I will return this to you with interest.”

Setting the narrative for the General Election, PM Modi elaborated about India’s new approach towards terrorism, and said, “Aatankwadiyon ke addon main ghus kar marenge. Ye naye Bharat ki niti hai, aatank ko hara kar hi hum dum lenge, ye hamara sankalp hai.”

Shiv Sena had been in tandem over supporting the BJP as the former had been criticising the ruling dispensation over its policies but post Pulwama attack, the latter joined in with the BJP and said, that ‘it’s the nation which comes first and then the petty politics.’
