UP: Akhilesh Yadav begins its 'Vikas Rath Yatra' in Lucknow today

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is all launches Samajwadi Party's Vikas rath yatra, which will leave from Lucknow to Kanpur on 3 November.

Stating that the yatra will establish new identity of Akhilesh "leadership" and will also ensure success for 2017 assembly polls, Cabinet minister Rajendra Chowdhury said it would reach every corner of the state.

"Lakhs of youths will participate in the yatra, which will prove to be the turning point of politics. At every halt, Akhilesh will be welcomed by youths, farmers, minority and he will also address the gathering," Chowdhury said.

"The yatra will be a sort of catalyst for a change in politics. Akhilesh will try to break communalism and casteism through the yatra in which he will be highlighting development works done by his government," he added.

A lot of arrangements are being been made by Team Akhilesh for the success of the yatra, in which besides video titled 'Kam Bolta Hai' (Work speaks), showing the CM working tirelessly will also be shown.

Arrangements are being made to ensure huge success of the yatra, amidst family tussle to establish Akhilesh as "indisputed" political heir of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
