Bhartiya Janata Party leaders are on high on making controversial remarks during Lok Sabha elections. After Yogi Adityanath, Maneka Gandhi and Sadhvi Pragya, now another saffron party leader has joined the squad. Attacking rival Congress president Rahul Gandhi BJP leader Pankaja Munde said that a bomb should be tied around Congress president's neck and he should be sent to other countries.

Addressing a rally at Jalna parliamentary constituency, Pankaja Munde, a minister in the cabinet of Devendra Fadnavis, said that those who are questioning on Balakot air strikes conducted by the IAF will be convinced only if a bomb were tied around Congress president.

"We conducted the surgical strike after a cowardly attack on our soldiers. Some people ask what the surgical strikes were about, and what's the evidence that they even happened. I say we should have attached a bomb to Rahul Gandhi and sent him to another country. Then they would have understood," news agency ANI quoted Ms Munde saying at a rally in the state's Jalna Lok Sabha constituency.

Surprisingly. Munde made the comments in presence of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and BJP state unit chief Danve Raosaheb Dadarao who's seeking re-election from the seat.

Congress has condemned Munde's remarks calling it cheap politics of the BJP. "The cheap thoughts of BJP leaders are being proved once again. We don’t expect anything less than that from them. Those who label a martyr (Karkare) as anti-national are capable of going to any extent. We condemn Munde’s statement,” said Sachin Sawant, Congress spokesperson.
