The Patiala House Court has taken the Delhi Police at arms as the court has slammed the Delhi Police for filing the charge sheet without approval.

The Delhi Police had earlier filed a charge sheet in the case where Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid, Anirban were made accused in the case and a 1200 page chargesheet was filed.

The Patiala House Court has said that if Delhi Police had no approval of the competent authority, then why did they file a charge sheet. The Delhi Police, in response has said that, “will get the sanction approval in 10 days.”

Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and Anirban remain at stand-by in the case.
