Fugitive Vijay Mallya spotted cheering for India against Australia in London

The most controversial India businessman Vijay Mallya who has now been also called as 'Economical Fugitive' was spotted at The Oval in London. The businessman came to watch India vs Australia match in World Cup 2019.

Vijay Mallya is accused of defrauding Indian banks with the fraud of 9 thousand crores, told a reporter that he was at the Oval to watch the World Cup match. "I am here to watch the game," Vijay Mallya said.

 

However, this is not the first time when Vijay Mallya has been spotted at a cricket match, He has been a regular person at most cricketers involving India in the UK. Vijay Mallya left India on 2nd March 2016. India has filed an extradition request. A UK court recently had approved the extradition request of India. Mallya, however, has appealed the court's order.

Vijay Mallya is accused of causing loss of 9 thousand crores to Indians banks. Now the UK court will hear Vijay Mallya's plea challenging his extradition order in July. However, the sources said that Vijay Mallya will run out of legal options if the UK court rejects his plea on 2nd July.
