6-year-old boy shot dead in Punjab

In a shocking incident, a 6-year-old child was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne men in Punjab’s Mansa district, police said on March 17.

The incident took place in Kotli village when Jaspreet Singh was going home with his son and daughter, and the unidentified men riding a motorcycle started firing at them. Unfortunately, one of the bullets hit Singh's son's head. The child was rushed to Mansa Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The victim's family claimed that they have no enmity with anyone but want justice.

Police have lodged a case and initiated the probe to nab the accused persons.
