
A 14-year-old girl was brutally raped allegedly by her maternal uncle and cousin in Mumbai’a Borivali area, police said on February 12.
Police said that they have arrested both the accused within four hours of receiving the information and registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other relevant sections of the IPC.
The girl was living with her maternal aunt’s house in Borivali area.
The victim minor informed her uncle, who lives in Virar, about the incident. They lodged a complaint at the Virar Police Station, following that the case was transferred to MHB police station.

Cops acted promptly to the complaint and, within four hours, arrested the accused uncle (50) and cousin (19) after starting the investigation.
Both the accused will be presented in the court.
