The benchmark BSE Sensex spurted by 427 points to 25,745.15 and NSE Nifty regained the 7,800-mark in early trade today on continued across-the-board buying, tracking extended rally in global markets.

The 30-share index, which had gained 424.06 points in the previous session, was up by 427.28 points or 1.69 per cent to 25,745.15 with all the sectoral indices led by realty, IT, metal and bankex, were trading in positive zone.

Brokers said widening of positions by participants, tracking extended gains in other Asian markets and overnight rally in the US on better-than-expected euro zone Q2 GDP data and hope for further market stimulus on Chinese markets, buoyed trading sentiments here.

Among other Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei surged 5.67 per cent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 2.92 per cent, while Shanghai Composite index up 1.98 per cent in early trade.

The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 2.42 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
