IPL 2019 DC vs CSK: Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets

CSK beat DC by 6 wickets to win their second match of the season. Earlier, Delhi Capitals were restricted to 147-6 in 20 overs. After winning the toss against Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals chose to bat first and the home team started well with Prithvi Shaw hitting 16-ball 24 before he was dismissed by Deepak Chahar and was caught by Shane Watson.

Shikhar Dhawan looked good as the wickets were falling infront of him but his innings was cut short by Dwayne Bravo after he made his half-century. Dhawan scored 47-ball 51 before giving a catch to Shradul Thakur.


Skipper Shreyas Iyer was lbw by Imran Tahir as he managed 20-ball 18 runs. Rishabh Pant was looking as good as the last game but he was dismissed by Dwayne Bravo for 13-ball 25. Colin Ingram was dismissed by Dwayne Bravo again for just 2 runs. Keemo Paul went for a golden duck as Ravindra Jadeja bowled him out.

Dwayne Bravo took three wickets from the four overs he bowled, while Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir and Ravindra Jadeja took one each.

Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu took the field for Chennai Super Kings in the second innings. Ambati Rayudu was the first one to depart as he made five runs off five balls before Ishant Sharma took his wicket. Shane Watson became a prey of Rishabh Pant’s stumping off Amit Mishra’s ball. Watson hit 26-ball 44 before leaving the field.
