Nephew kills uncle after latter asked him to pay Rs 120 for fish

In a shocking incident, a man allegedly bludgeoned his uncle to death after the latter asked him to give Rs 120 for fish.

The incident took place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. According to timesnownews.com, the accused had purchased fish from his uncle’s shop but didn’t pay the bill. Due to this, the two started arguing.


The accused was identified as Kallu. The deceased identified as Kayum Khan, brother of Kallu’s mother.

On the night of the incident, both were at an area that falls under the limits of the Old Cantt police station.

Reportedly, Kayum Khan used to sell fish while his nephew sold fish fry nearby. On Sunday night, the accused bought fish worth Rs 120 from Khan but had declined to pay the amount. When Khan demanded the money, Kallu allegedly started hurling abuses at him and this led to an altercation.

Kallu murdered his uncle with the help of a knife and ladle, Aaj Tak reported. After killing his uncle, Kally fled from the spot and has not been located yet.

After the bloodshed, Khan was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to the injuries during treatment.

According to the family members of Khan, the uncle-nephew used to have arguments over their business.

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased is demanding stringent action against Kally. Police have registered a case in relation to the allegations.

However, the accused is still at large.
