Husband away, brother-in-law barges into woman's room and molests her
In yet another incident of crime against women reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal, a 28-year-old woman has registered a police complaint against her brother-in-law, blaming him of sexually harassing her when her husband was away on Saturday.
As maintained by the cops, the complainant, a native of Sukhi-Sewania, said that the grim incident occurred on Saturday when her husband, a driver by profession, was out of the town for work. Her brother-in-law came to their house to meet her husband. She told him that her husband was away for work. After this, her brother-in-law told her that he wished to stay till her husband returns.
According to police, the woman’s brother-in-law forced into her room when she was asleep. He allegedly touched her in an inappropriate way. The woman raised objections against the horrifying act and sounded an alarm, following which her brother-in-law ran away, as per a report in The Times of India.
Subsequent to this, the woman approached the Sukhi-Sewania police in order to register a complaint against the accused. On the basis of her complaint, the police charged the accused for molestation and house trespass under relevant provisions.
Investigations into the case are underway.
