As the overnight rain in Delhi led to water logging on Thursday, throwing traffic out of gear, former cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir shared a video on Twitter of people crossing a waterlogged road on a bullock cart in what appeared to be a dig at the Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government.

In the video people are seen falling into the waterlogged road after the cart loses it balance.

"This is not Tughlaq's Delhi of the 14th century but of 21st century Tughlaq," tweeted Gautam Gambhir, sharing the video.

The clip initially shared by ANI shows people on a bullock cart navigating through a waterlogged road. In less than a minute, at least five people fall into the water one after the other after they lose balance.

The incident, according to news agency ANI, happened in Delhi’s Tughlakabad area, one of the worst-affected parts of the national capital.

The overnight rain in the national capital were the heaviest pour of rains this monsoon, according to the IMD.
