Hollywood tycoon Harvey Weinstein to surrender on sexual assault charges in New York
Hollywood Tycoon Harvey Weinstein is expected to surrender to New York police on Friday on sexual misconduct charges, US media report.
From last few months, he has been accused for sexually accusing women.
Weinstein's spokesman Juda Engelmayer and Weinstein's lawyer Benjamin Brafman both declined to comment. The charging of Weinstein, which was first reported by the New York Daily News, follows a months-long investigation, including by the Manhattan district attorney's office.
He has been charged with numerous allegations, including rape and sexual assault, but has denied non-consensual sex with anyone.

More than 70 women have accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct spanning decades, including rape. After the allegations were reported, it led to the rise of #MeToo movement in which hundreds of women have publicly accused powerful men in business, government and entertainment.
One of the actress Lucia Evans, detailed her accusations against Weinstein in an article in the New Yorker in October last year.
It is still unclear if he will any more charges by other users. Although, police has been investigating allegations of rape made by actress Paz de la Huerta.

In fact, Netflix producer Alexandra Canosa filed court papers in New York alleging Weinstein raped, sexually assaulted and verbally abused her over a five-year period.
Weinstein's lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, has not commented on reports that his client will imminently turn himself in.
Brafman, Weinstein's lawyer, is known for representing high-profile criminal defendants, including pop star Michael Jackson and Martin Shkreli, the former drug company executive.
