
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened applications for CDS (Combined Defence Services) Examination 2017. The UPSC CDS exam will be held on February 5, 2017. Candidates can apply for the same till 2 December, 2016.
According to an official statement, online applications (Part I and II) can be filled from 9 November to 2 December, 2016, till 6:00 PM, after which link will be disabled.
How to apply for UPSC CDS 2017
To apply for the exam, candidates need visit the website www.upsconline.nic.in. A brief instructions for filling up the online application form has been uploaded (in the Appendix-II). Candidates are advised to go through it before filling up forms.
Application fee
Candidates nee to Rs 200 for each application. The fees is exempted for reserved category candidates.
Process of payment:
Cash: Candidates can choose to pay in cash after printing the system generated pay-in slip and deposit the fee on the next working day. The last date to submit their application fee is by December 1.
Online: Candidates can also choose to pay via Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking within December 2.
Candidates studying in the final year/semester degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply. Eligible candidates shall be issued e-admit cards three weeks before the commencement of the examination.
For both writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet (Answer Sheet)
candidates must use black ball pen only Pens with any other colou are
prohibited.
