NEET 2016 Results declared by CBSE; over 4 lakh candidates qualify

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the combined results of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) - I & II. NEET I was held on 1 May and NEET II 24 July, 2016.

Candidates can also view their results on the AIMPT website and CBSE website.

In order to view the NEET UG 2016 results, candidates need to enter their roll number and date of birth.

NEET 2016 results are also available on "DigiResults" website, a CBSE initiative in collaboration with DigiLocker.

According to a notice on the official AIPMT website, "NEET 2016 digital rank letters will be available in DigiLocker (https://digilocker.gov.in/), for those who have qualified under 15% All India quota seats. Please sign up for DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar number to access it. If you already have a DigiLocker account, please make sure to link your Aadhaar number to your account."

NEET 2016: Scores of phase 1 to be considered for medical admissions

NEET-I was conducted at 1040 centres in 52 cities all over India and abroad & NEET-II was conducted at 739 centres in 56 cities in India.

According to a release by CBSE, "As it was done in NEET-2013, this year too, with the help of experts, difficulty level of both the question papers of NEET-I & NEET-II was ensured to be similar. The result has been prepared based on the various decisions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India on NEET- 2016. "

Het Shah emerged as the NEET 2016 topper with 99.999863 percentile score, closely followed by Ekansh Goyal and Nikhil Bajiya .

Before declaring NEET 2016 results, CBSE has hosted the OMR Answer Sheets of all the candidates on website for their information.
