KVS Admission 2022: Online registration for Class 1 to start today; check list of documents required

KVS Admission 2022: The online application process for Class 1 at Kendriya Vidyalalyas will begin today, February 28. Parents who want to enroll their children in KVS Class 1 will be able to submit the application form today at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

According to the official website, “Registration and submission of online application for admission to Std 1 for the academic year 2022-2023 will start on 28 Feb 2022 10:00 IST.”


The online registration process for KVS will start on February 28 and will end on March 21 at 07:00 pm.

“A Child must be 6 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class 1. The child born on 1st April should also be considered,” the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said.

According to notification, the first admission list will be released on March 25 and if seats remain vacant, the second and third lists will be released further on April 1 and 8.

KVS Admission 2022: List of Documents Required

To apply for the KVS Class 1 admission, parents should keep some documents ready for the online admission process.

1. Birth certificate for age proof.
2. Category certificate (SC, ST, etc), if applicable.
3. Proof of residence.
4. Proof of relationship for grandchildren of Members of Parliament and PSU employees, KVS employees.
5. PwD certificate, if applicable.
6. A certificate of retirement for uniformed Defence employees.

“Incomplete application forms shall normally be rejected. In case vacancies remain, Principal may allow completion of the form later at his/her discretion,” the KVS said.

“Admission secured based on any wrong certificate shall be cancelled by the Principal forthwith and no appeal against such action of the Principal shall be entertained,” it further added.

Applicants should also note that if multiple forms are submitted for the same child then KVS will consider the last application submitted by the applicant.
