JEE Main 2021 Result Released: Meet topper who secured 300 out of 300 marks; know his success mantra

JEE Main 2021 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of JEE Main 2021 exam and also released the names of the toppers on its official website.

Among the six toppers who have scored 100 percentile is Siddhant Mukherjee from Mumbai.


Know all about JEE Main 2021 topper

Siddhant Mukherjee hails from Mumbai but he had shifted to Rajasthan’s Kota for his engineering entrance exam preparation. His hard work paid off as he scored a perfect 300 out of 300 marks and has also been rewarded with a 100 percentile.

According to timesnownews.com reports, Siddhant shifted Kota after completing his Class 10th board exams, in which he also scored 98.4 per cent.

Why only Kota?

Though there are several good institutions in Mumbai, Siddhant has his own plans and he wanted to go to Kota, which is a hub of the best IIT coaching classes.

As per Siddhant, students from all over the country come to Kota for their exam preparation. Therefore, he decided to go to Kota and join the best peer group for studies.

During the lockdown, Siddhant was attending online classes for his entrance exam preparation.

The JEE Main 2021 topper credits his success to his family and teachers. The uninterrupted and continued education helped him in cracking the entrance exam. Siddhant said that COVID-19 lockdown was a boon for him as it gave him a proper time to prepare for the examination without any interruption. However, his physical activities were curtailed but lockdown saved his two hours which had brought a balance in his life.

Siddhant’s Study Mantra:

The JEE Main topper recommends NCERT books for the preparation of JEE Main exam. His coaching institute also provides him a great competition, and the teaching methodology was ideal. The most important thing that helped in scoring the perfect 300 scores was his hard work and dedication towards his goal.

Message for IIT JEE aspirant:

“I found my passion in science when I was young. It was that passion that helped me put in the extra effort in the studies. Students should find their passion and then it would be all easy," Siddhant told timesnownews.com.

Apart from JEE Main, Siddhant Mukherjee also secured all India Rank in NSEJS Stage 1 Examination.

Other than studies, Siddhant also won a gold medal in Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition in 2015 and then again in 2017.

Next what?

Siddhant is now planning to crack JEE Advanced so that he can get admission to IIT Bombay’s Computer Science department. He wants to provide innovative solutions in the field for the country. With scoring full marks in JEE Main 2021, Siddhant has already secured a place in Computer Science courses at Cambridge University, United Kingdom as well as in London’s Imperial College.

Siddhant’s family

Siddhant’s father, Sandip Mukherjee is an IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus who runs a Risk Management company in Mumbai. His mother, Nabaneeta Mukherjee is a Chartered Accountant, who has taken a break from work for her son’s study.

Siddhant also credits his success to his grandmother, who also moved with him to Kota for his preparation. She was his constant support during his journey to crack JEE Main exam.

Meanwhile, Siddhant is concentrating on his JEE Advanced and Class 12 board examinations which will be held in May 2021.
