IBPS PO Recruitment: Year-wise vacancy details (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017)
The total number of posts in Institute of Banking Personnel Selection PO is gradually decreasing from IBPS PO I to IBPS PO VI. Though there is no official data available about the total number of selected candidates for IBPS PO I and PO II, still we are trying to compare the total number of candidates recruited via IBPS Probationary Officers CWE from IBPS PO III to IBPS PO VI.

In 2016, 48500 candidates were shortlisted for the interview round and one third of them (16721 candidates) had been selected for the final selection.
In 2015, 40763 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview round and 12434 candidates get the jobs.
Approximately, 20 lac people will apply for IBPS PO VI Recruitment and 4 lac students will clear prelims and only 38k students will be selected for interviews.
