CAT 2017: Beware! Don't take these items in exam room

The Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted every year for the business and management students. But this time all the students be careful before entering the examination room. Yes, you have heard right, this time CAT has evolved the new plan for the exam.

According to the official website, CAT 2017 exam is going to be held on 26 November this year. The organization has released the list of instruction that is strict to be followed by the students this time. The lists of instruction released by the exam authority might surprise you. Exam authorities notified in their instructions that no candidate will be allowed to enter wearing the shoes inside the examination hall. Candidates also not allowed to wear any metallic jewelry. This decision comes after the students who violate the rules and regulation during the examination. Likewise the previous year, authorities declared that no students won't allow wearing the jewelry or any ornaments made from metals. Last year, the candidates were advised to wear open footwear like chappals, sandals.

According to tot the rules of competitive exam, candidates can't carry the electronic gadgets like earphones, microphones, mobiles etc inside the examination hall. The above instructions issued by the IIM Lucknow. Besides, these rules organization also announced that all the aspirants should keep their personal belonging at their own risk because there will be no place to keep their things and authorities will not take any responsibilities. It has been requested by the authorities to read all the rules and regulation clearly so that no confusion may occur during the examination. All the aspirant candidates should reach on time at hall centre with their documents like admit card and original photo ID proof.


CAT is common admission test for those candidates who want to higher studies in business and management administration i.e. MBA in India's top-notch management organization. CAT is conducted by the IIM( Indian Institute of Management) every year. After qualifying CAT exam students become eligible for all the top IIM institute to do the higher studies.
