NGT issues notice to Delhi Police over non-payment of water bills amounting to Rs 232 crore

The National Green Tribunal has reportedly issued a notice to Delhi Police, seeking a reply on non-payment of water bills allegedly amounting to Rs 232 crore.
As per a Times of India report, NGT was hearing a petition filed by Sanjay Kumar who said he received an RTI reply stating that the Delhi Police has not paid water bills.
The green body has also reportedly issued notices to the Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Government and Delhi Pollution Control Committee over the issue.
