We often purchase our household items when in need or when they get damaged. But do you know purchasing some sort of items on a specific day could be lucky for you or sometimes could bring a loss for you? One of such household items is a broom.

The broom is used to maintain the cleanliness of the house. As per Hindu belief, it is considered to be the form of Goddess Lakshmi. So, if you want to bring the Maa Lakshmi to your home, then one must ignore the auspicious day or time while purchasing a groom.

According to Vastu Shastra, if you want to change your broom or want to buy a new broom then Saturday is the best day to bring it home.

Using a new broom on Saturday is considered to be propitious. Also, it is being said that the broom should be purchased in Krishna Paksha. However, one should avoid buying a broom in the Shukla Paksha because it is an indicator of bad luck. Therefore, never purchase a broom during this muhurat.

Apart from this, there is a belief about the broom that stepping or crossing a broom is also considered inauspicious. Also, it should never be kept at the door of the house. One should hide the broom from the eyes of the people.
