India's ODI skipper Mithali Raj, the bedrock of India's batting line-up, became the first woman  cricketer to score 2000 T20 international runs during the match against SriLanka in Women’s Asia Cup T20 2018 in Malaysia. She ia also the leading run scorer in ODI cricket form.

Mithali Raj, who made her international debut at the age of just 17, against Ireland in 1999,  made an  stunning impact by scoring a hundred in her first game in national colours.


Mithali Raj has 14 half-centuries to her name in T20I cricket. She is only the  Indian cricketer who is close to Mithali’s bunch of runs is India’s T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (1,443 plus runs).

India will play Pakistan while Bangaldesh will face Malaysia on Saturday.
