Wriddhiman Saha marked his comeback with a sublime one handed diving catch of Umesh Yadav’s delivery to send Theunis de Bruyn back to the pavilion during the second Test against South Africa in Pune on Sunday.

It was second wicket that India clutched after imposing the follow-on on Day 4. Picture and clip of Wriddhiman Saha’s brilliant catch became viral on the social media within no time.

South Africa were reduced to 21/2 in 5.4 overs when pacer Umash Yadav struck for the men in blue. Earlier, Ishant Sharma dismissed Aiden Markram through LBW for a duck on the second ball of the first over.

Wriddhiman Saha had done something alike on the Day 3, when he took a brilliant catch off Umesh Yadav’s delivery to dismiss Theunis de Bruyn.

The 34 year old’s Indian Premier League franchise SunRisers Hyderabad had shared the clip of the catch, and captioned it: "Just in case anyone missed Superman. Saha's catch yesterday.... here it is."

India are leading the three match Test series against South Africa 1-0 as they won the 1st Test in Vizag by 203 runs.

Virat Kohli led team India are currently the number one ranked Test team in the ICC Test Championship points table and will look to cement their position.
