Watch: AB de Villiers 'Mr 360' plays one handed blinder to send the ball out of the park

AB de Villiers regarded as ‘Mr 360’ by his fans is known for his fantastic hitting. In a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab, de Villiers played a one handed blinder shot and sent the ball into the orbit. De Villiers played an awesome knock of 82 runs including 7 maximums and 3 boundaries.

The incident happened in the 19th over when Mohammed Shami was bowling his last spell. AB de Villiers already hit two sixes in a row in the 4th and 5th ball. Shami bowled a full toss which AB didn’t wanted to miss. So, he sat down on his knees and hit the ball with even looking at it. The ball travelled all the way and went out of the park.


 

AB de Villiers 82 off 44 ball helped Bangalore put on 202 runs on board. Parthiv Patel also contributed with the bat as he scored a quick 24-ball 43, while Marcus Stoinis made 34-ball 46. Virat Kohli lost his wicket early after making only 13 runs. Moeen Ali also couldn’t do much as he was dismissed for just 4 runs.

For Punjab, KL Rahul and Chris Gayle provided a good start but lost the first wicket at 42 in form of Gayle. Gayle scored 23 off just 10 balls before being dismissed by Umesh Yadav. Mayank Agarwal came in and scored 35 runs before Stoinis sent him back. KL Rahul scored 27-ball 42 before Moeen Ali dismissed him.

Nicholas Pooran and David Miller were looking good as they held the innings but Miller’s wicket followed by Pooran demolished Punjab. Pooran scored a quick 28-ball 46 including 5 sixes and 1 boundary. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match by 17 runs.
