The India-Pakistan clash was the much-anticipated match of World Cup 2019 and despite getting over 72 hours ago the match is still being talked about. The match saw a one-sided affair as Pakistan was defeated by 89 runs (DLS) method. India outclassed Pakistan in all departments as the men in green couldn’t chase 336 runs.

A video from the match is going viral on social media where Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim can be seen requesting Indian skipper Virat Kohli to get out. Imad with his folded hands was requesting Virat to give up and leave.

Virat Kohli scored his 51st one-day international half-century in the match and in the process also became the fastest batsman in the world to reach 11,000 runs. Virat Kohli was dismissed in the 48th over by Mohammad Amir and his wicket was a talking point. In the replay, it showed that Virat Kohli’s bat didn’t touch the ball when it passed over him and was caught by the wicket-keeper. However, Virat immediately started walking off the field as if he knew that he edged the ball. Virat was in shock after watching the replay sitting in the dug-out.

Pakistani players faced a lot of criticism over their style of play and the main target was their skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed who chose to field first after winning the toss. Sarfaraz’s fitness also came under scrutiny after their loss against India.
