Watch: Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed faces verbal abuse on field after India loss

Pakistan cricket team face a lot of criticism after they lost a crucial World Cup match against their arch-rival India. Pakistan lost the match because of their poor show on the field with both bat and the ball that followed the 89 runs (DLS) method defeat.

Pakistani cricketers were called out for not maintaining their fitness like their Indian counterparts and were suggested to learn something from Virat Kohli. The criticism reached a new height after a Pakistani fan called their skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed ‘fat’ and unfit to play cricket.


A video is going viral on the internet where a Pakistani fan can be heard shouting insults at Sarfaraz Ahmed after the match. Sarfaraz was standing on the field closer to the stands from where a Pakistani fan yelled and called him fat.

 

Earlier a similar video went viral where a Pakistani fan can be seen ranting about the team indulging in eating junk food prior to the match against India.

Pakistan cricket team was outplayed by India in all departments as they failed to chase down 336 runs. Rohit Sharma played a brilliant knock of 140 runs and won the man of the match award. Kuldeep Yadav, Vijay Shankar and Hardik Pandya took two wickets to help India win their 7th World Cup match against Pakistan.
