After yet another dismal show in an edition of the IPL, Virat Kohli led  Royal Challengers Bangalore has decided to sack the caoching and support staff including the head coach Daniel Vettori for the poor performance from the team.

As per reported in Mumbai Mirror, the batting and fielding coach Trent Woodhill and the bowling coach Andrew McDonald have also been sacked by the Diageo management( franchise owner). However, former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra will remain the bowling mentor of the team.

The reports are claiming that franchise are retaining and hiring coaching staffs only on Indian skipper Virat Kohli's recommendation and the new coaching staff will be announced next week being the Virat Kohli's favourites. Some of the speculations are also rife that Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar is a strong candidate  with former South Africa cricketer Gary Kirsten in line to replace Daniel Vettori to take charge as the head coach of RCB.

Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the finest and balanced squad in the history of IPL. Although, the team is yet struggling to clinch the IPL trophy from 11 years. RCB won only 6 matches out of 14 in IPL 2018. They finished at the 6th spot in the points table despite the presence of world class top batsman Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the squad.

The head coach of Kings XI Punjab, Brad Hodge has been asked to leave while former Australian spinner Shane Warne is likely to be appointed as the head coach of Rajasthan Royals while former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting is likely to stay at Delhi Daredevils as their head coach as per reported in Mumbai Mirror.
