Rohit Sharma has smashed some long standing records as he scored his third Test hundred as opener.

During the third Test, India were at the receiving end as they lost early three wickets for just 31 on the score board. Kagiso Rabada dismissed Mayank Agarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara for paltry scores and Anrich Nortje dismissed skipper Virat Kohli.

Then Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane brought team India back on track as they put up a 185 runs partnership for the fourth wicket.

Rohit Sharma knocked a brilliant hundred and is still batting on 117 which includes 14 fours and 4 sixes, while on the other hand Ajinkya Rahane is batting on 83 with 11 fours and 1 maximum. India scored 224 for 3 at the stumps.

With this Rohit Sharma added yet another record to his ranks by becoming the first batsman to hit the most number of sixes in a Test series. He has by far hit 17 sixes.
