MS Dhoni forgot to bowl the 20th over to Rajasthan, rushed back to the field

Dhoni is the man in a hurry and he does not like to waste time at all on the cricket pitch and It is very visible for everybody to see in his style of batting before the wickets and his wicket-keeping behind the wickets. But as Jos Butler displayed his steel nerves to steer Rajasthan Royals towards a sensational win against Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets something rather strange happened.

MS Dhoni, after taking the catch of Krishnappa Gowtham on the final delivery of the 19^th match, walked without realising that his team was yet to bowl one more over, as reported by ESPN Cricinfo.

However, The CSK wicket keeper soon realised his mistake and got back to the field again to resume the game. With only 12 runs needed off the last over, Buttler steered the Royal Blues.

Dhoni was disappointed after the defeat and blamed it on the bowlers for failing to hold the Rajasthan batsman in the death overs.

"I think it is the bowling. We had to bowl one particular length and the bowlers were instructed on what they need to bowl and where they need to bowl. That back of the length was a difficult one to hit. We at least got hit 4-5 boundaries off full length. What really happens is once you are told what to bowl, you need to be bowling to that area. They need to commit and execute. It is not the planning but the execution that goes haywire. That was a par score or a par plus score. I think the bowlers let us down to some extent" Dhoni said in the post-match talk.

Standing at the second spot with 14 points to their name, CSK need one more victory to confirm a place for themselves in the playoffs.

"You just don't want to qualify into the knockout stages, you have to win games. You also need to adjust to what length to bowl and how to bowl," Dhoni said after the match.
