KXIP v RCB, IPL 2018: AB De Villiers's fantastic fifty helped Virat Kohli's team to open the winning account
The South African star batsman AB de Villiers scored his half-century, a fantastic fifty-seven with a flurry of sixes as Royal Challengers Bangalore open it's winning account in the 8th match of IPL season 11 against Kings XI Punjab. The Virat Kohli's RCB team defeated the R Ashwin's KXIP by 4 wickets at P Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday.
The RCB skipper where scored 21 runs and after the departure of the Kohli's AB de Villiers played anchor and opened his arms towards some lusty blows. South African Cricket star hit two fours and four sixes in his powerful knock. Villiers gave a great turn to the match towards victory but had to walk out towards pavilion in the 18th over, when RCB needed just 10 runs from 11 balls.
Virat Kohli led RCB lost their opening match to Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets on April 8. While The KXIP won their opening match against Delhi Daredevils. The Kings XI Punjab set a target of 156 runs in front of Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore and the RCB's chased the runs like a pro and won the match. To cheer on Virat Kohli and his side team, Anushka Sharma was also presented in the stadium.
In the Virat Kohli's army Brendon McCullum, Quinton de Kock (W), AB de Villiers, Sarfaraz Khan, Mandeep Singh, Chris Woakes, Washington Sundar, Umesh Yadav, Kulwant Khejroliya, Yuzvendra Chahal came on the ground to give tough competition to their opponent team.
