The Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals are going to clash in the Match 49 of the Indian Premier League. A win for any of the teams would take them a step closer to the playoffs. Both the teams happen to sit in the upper half of the points table.

KKR have played 12 matches so far and lost 6 and won as many matches so far. They won their last match against Mumbai Indians breaking the two-match consecutive losses.

Interestingly, both the teams have 6 wins in the 12 matches they have played. Sunil Narine is proving himself to be the biggest hitter for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Among the others who have been in good form are Robin Uthappa (who has hit the ball sweetly but has somehow failed to cash in on his form) and captain Dinesh Karthik (the team’s top run-getter this season).

Whereas Rajasthan Royals have found their magic batsman in Jos Butler who has been the ball really hard. In the process, the English batsman has hit 5 consecutive half centuries, a feat worth consideration. He has been phenomenal since he has been promoted in the batting order. Moreover, Sanju Samson has been the key to Rajasthan's batting order as well.

Despite not bowling at his best, Sunil Narine is still the Kolkata Knight Riders’ top wicket-taker this season.

The most lethal bowler for the Rajasthan Royals has been Jofra Archer. Even though suffering from injuries, Jofra Archer is the Rajasthan Royals’ highest wicket-taker this season; the 23-year old pacer has picked up at least one wicket in each of the 7 matches he has played.
