Following IPL auction 2020 on Thursday, Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins went on to become the most expensive overseas cricketer in the history of Indian Premier League (IPL) as bowlers and uncapped cricketers held sway over the 13th IPL auction. 62 players were traded and Rs 140.30 crore was splashed out.

Another Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who was not taken into consideration for the forthcoming ODI series against India in January, got back to Kings XI Punjab for a whopping Rs 10.75 crore after an intense bidding war with Delhi Capitals.

The future crop of Indian cricketers also made merry as spinner Varun Chakravarthy was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 4 crore.
