The stage is set for a stunning clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium in the 11th edition of Indian Premiere League. Nerves will play a big role as two title-hungry champions, Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad try to put every possible effort to cease the IPL trophy in their cabinet.

Defending low totals, nine-wicket wins on two occasions, consistent Kane and Rashid Khan’s brilliance- These have been the top highlights of SRH so far this season. 


There are several reasons why Sunisers Hyderabad beat Chennai Super Kings despite having world's best hitters. Here is a quick look on the reasons so far...

Reasons why SRH beat CSK

  • SRH is known to have one of the best bowling attacks with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Rashid Khan. Bhuvi has been brilliant as always in the death overs, while Siddharth Kaul has also emerged as a crucial bowler under pressure for the team.Rashid Khan is all time favourite, playing a cameo role and taking stunning catches  in this IPL season.
  • Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson itself is a reason for the team success in this season. He leading run-scorer (688 runs), the Kiwi batsman has already got eight fifties to his name. 
  • Not just with the batting and bowling  the Sunrisers squad are well on the field. Shikher Dhawan has taken 12 catches so far out of which two were stunning. One of the major reasons for Hyderabad’s success this season has been their fielding, which stopped many runs and caused big collapses.
  • The Sunrisers have the impressive rail of batting line-up which help  them to put and competitive total on the board followed by Wriddhiman Saha, Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Shakib Al Hasan, Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan, Carlos Brathwaite, and now Rashid Khan.
