Mumbai Indians have won the toss and chose to field.

Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni being the top two batsmen of the Indian Cricket Team and leading their respective teams. The clash today is between the topmost and bottom-most teams. The Chennai Super Kings have won 5 of the 6 matches they have played so far whereas Mumbai has done the exact opposite. Mumbai has won only one of the six matches it has played.

Starting with the batting, Shane Watson and Rayudu opened the innings for CSK. Chennai started carefully but Shane Watson fell at a paltry score of 12 runs at 11 balls and Rayudu was joined by Suresh Raina who remained not out till the end of the game and went on to hit an amazing knock of 75 runs off just 47 balls. Rayudu played well and added 46 runs to the scoreboard playing 35 balls.

MS Dhoni could not blast off a knock like the last match but he did add 26 runs playing 21 balls. Dwyane Bravo could not even score a single run and got out on the very first ball. Mithcell McClenaghan and Krunal Pandya conceded 2 wickets each whereas Hardik Pandya got one wicket. Jasprit Bumrah and Mayank Markande could not perform up to his name. Bumrah did control the runs up to an extent but could not send anybody back to the pavilion.

Mayank Markande, on the other hand, proved quite expensive in the three overs he bowled. He spent 30 runs in his 3 overs but could not get any wicket.
