There is a lot of excitement around the Test match going to be played between India and Afghanistan. Moreover, this match may not be a big deal for the Indian cricket team but it is a very significant match for Afghanistan. The historic match will be played on June 14 and Afghanistan will make their debut in the Test matches. There are many young players in the Afghan squad but the match will be particularly special for Wafadar Momand and the reason behind this is home.


His home is under Taliban terrorists and he wants it back from them. His house is under the control of terrorists and there happens a regular struggle between the police and terrorists in the region. His home comes in the area Laghman and it is the area that has not been freed by the ISIS yet. The region witnesses a fierce struggle between ferocious terrorists and the security forces to date.

The match will be played in the Chinnaswamy stadium of Bangaluru and the Afghan squad has been announced. Wafadar Momand is also a part of the Afghan squad. He happens to be one of the youngest fast bowlers. He can deliver balls at speeds more than 140 kmph. The team also consists of fast bowlers like Sayed Sherjad and Yamini Ahmedzai. The mystery spinner who trumped batsmen in the IPL, Mujib Ur Rahman has also found a place in the Afghanistan team
