ICC Qualifiers finals witnessed Afghanistan and West Indies contesting. Afghan batsman Shahzad hit 84 runs off 93 deliveries. He hit 11 fours and 2 sixes in his innings.


Afghanistan put a target of 214 runs for West Indies whereas, West Indian team was all out at 204 runs and the Afghan team registered a win against West Indies by 7 wickets.

Notably, the charismatic Afghan bowler Rashid Khan became the fastest player to register 100 wickets in his name. With this win, Afghanistan has once again defeated West Indies in the qualifying rounds.

West Indies batsmen could not concede a good start after winning the toss and choosing to bat. The attacking batsman of his team, Chris Gayle couldn't score more than 10 runs. However, Evin Lewis and Shy hopes registered 27 and 23 runs to the scoreboard. However, their contribution couldn't steer West Indies to the victory.

The most interesting after the match was watch the players of the two teams enjoying. The players could be seen dancing on the ground after the match was over.
