7-year-old girl perfectly copies Dhoni’s helicopter shot; see video

A video of a 7-year-old girl has brought the Internet by storm with her amazing batting skills. The little girl exactly copied the popular shot of former captain cool, MS Dhoni i.e. helicopter shot.

The video has also sought the response of former Indian opener Aakash Chopra and former batsman Sanjay Manjrekar.


The 7-year-old girl identified as Pari Sharma hails from Haryana. She has become an Internet sensation overnight for her amazing batting skills. Her video has gone viral on social media and has been appreciated by the cricket fraternity.

 

The video was shared by Aakash Chopra and he captioned the video: “Thursday Thunderbolt...our very own Pari Sharma. Isn’t she super talented? #AakashVani”

In the viral video, Pari is seen acing Dhoni’s helicopter shot, with Chopra adding his commentary to it.

Also, former Indian batsman and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar recalled how the helicopter shot was popularized by MS Dhoni and many Cricket fans tried to copy his shot.

“I see now helicopter shot being actually practiced. Along with collecting the ball very close to the stumps as a keeper, this is another cricketing technique Dhoni has popularised as great options for budding cricketers,” Manjrekar wrote.

 

Meanwhile, the video of Pari playing cricket has garnered over 1111k views and 7.7k likes on Twitter.

On the other hand, MS Dhoni is prepping up for the IPL 2020 that will start on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates.

Recently, Dhoni underwent a COVID-19 test on Wednesday, the report of which returned negative. Now, he is all set to join Chennai Super Kings for their pre-season camp.
