Zero star Shah Rukh Khan reveals why Jab Harry Met Sejal tanked; says, 'koi story nahin thi, sirf ek ring ke chakkar mein'
Usually, you have heard that people talk about their success but there are very rare chances when you see people talking about their failures. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has done something like this and he in a recent interview discussed his failure of Jab Harry Met Sejal. Director Imtiaz Ali directed film Jab Harry Met Sejal tanked at the box office and now SRK says that it happened because there was no story in the film.
These days Shah Rukh is busy in the promotions of his next film Zero and during some promotions interviews, SRK discussed several things. His last outing with Anushka Sharma Jab Harry Met Sejal was one of the disastrous films of his career so for now, his fans are eagerly waiting for Zero to release soon. They are hoping for something new and conceptual in Zero.
Zero actor said, “I let people down with Jab Harry Met Sejal, which was an utter flop. But I didn’t want to let anyone down; I just liked the fact that koi story nahin thi, sirf ek ring ke chakkar mein the two people (SRK’s Harry and Anushka Sharma’s Sejal) kheechey chale jaate hain… it was very organic, slice-of-life thi. The other day I met a director who mentioned the term ‘slice-of-life’ and I said, ‘nahin, poora pumpkin do mujhe iss baar.”

Spotting on Zero, then this movie revolves around a dwarf man Bauuaa Singh and two women in his life played by Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The outing is directed by Aanand L Rai who made films like Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Raanjhanaa, and others. It is slated to release on 21st December 2018.
