Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey have two films lined up for release in 2017. Pandey will produce Toilet: Ek Prem Katha while he will direct the Khiladi in Crack.

In an interview for the promotions of Dhoni: The Untold Story, Pandey confirmed that Toilet: Ek Prem Katha would go on floors in November this year. The director said:

"Toilet: Ek Prem Katha goes on floors in November 2016. The script has been the point of discussion for us since last one and a half years and I have been completely involved in the scripting process. I don't have anything to do on this now as the execution bit depends on the directors."

The producer has already blocked the Independence Day 2017 weekend for Crack. However, there is no clarity about the release date of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Pandey said:

"Yes, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha might release before Crack. We are still figuring out the open release window."

Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar have collaborated for films like Special 26, Baby and Rustom.
